sea friends: It is rare to encounter process requirements to check and calculate the local external load on the nozzle. Now I met an equipment owner who asked to verify and calculate the local external load on the head of the head. He wanted to use SW6 to calculate it. Which module program do you usually choose for calculation? How is the reliability? See picture. design parameters: Pressure 8MPa, temperature 60-°C, corrosion margin 2mm. Material: Head Q345R, nozzle and flange 16Mn forgings. See attached drawing for loads and illustrations. Please help me figure out how to fix it. Thanks.

The nozzle on the head is calculated using the WRC 107 nozzle on the convex head, and the WRC297 nozzle on the cylinder shell is used for calculation. The nozzle load can be divided into axial force, hoop force, longitudinal force and corresponding moment. The hoop force, longitudinal force and corresponding moment of the nozzle on the head can be combined into one force and moment. Now when SW6 is used to calculate the nozzle, out-of-bounds problems will occur in many cases. By adjusting the wall thickness of the shell and nozzle, and adding reinforcing rings, the software can calculate such nozzle loads.
