Excessively high temperature at the waste heat boiler manhole

Seeking help: The temperature at the manhole of the methanol waste heat boiler is very high, reaching 600°C. The material used is 15GrMo. It was noticed that the color of the manhole cover was different, and there was a slight leak; the connection has been tightened, and now there is basically no leakage (10PPM), but the temperature remains high. Additionally, the temperature difference between the manhole fitting and the cover itself is nearly 300°C. Could you please advise on the reasons for this phenomenon? Can the material withstand it for a long time?
