What standards should be referred to for the design of the external pressure cylinder of a thermocouple?
I can ask if there are any requirements for the instrumentation major. What we did before was to seal the pipe ends with plugs or pipe caps, and we calculated the external pressure on the pipes; it seems there’s no specific standard for this: lol

The cylinder subjected to external pressure is checked through calculations; as long as the wall thickness is sufficient.
