Do your atmospheric storage tank vent valves need to be calibrated once a year? Does a breathing valve truly belong to the category of special equipment? Doesn’t anything that’s not 0.1Mp belong in that category? I checked the textbook for safety engineers; it mentions inspection and verification. It doesn’t have to be a verification check, right?

Breather valves are not related to special equipment. **There is no mandatory requirement to conduct verification every year. If possible, it is advisable to carry out maintenance checks every six months, as the internal valve discs and diaphragms may be damaged, leading to air leaks.
Equipment equipped with breather valves are all at atmospheric pressure. In addition to regular inspections, these breather valves also need to be tested periodically to ensure that their pressure release function is working properly.
It depends on what is stored in your tank and whether it constitutes a major hazard.
