Request for assistance with the design of an oxidation tank for iron oxide pigments

Hello, fellow sailors! Good evening! Our company produces iron oxide pigments. Currently, our oxidation tanks are of the open-bottom type, and this design results in significant steam waste; therefore, we want to redesign the oxidation tanks. We went to visit a competitor and found that they were using oxidation tanks with a conical bottom and a sealing cover; the sealing cover was very small, with a diameter of perhaps just over one meter. I would like to ask the fellow sailors: if only a hole of over one meter in diameter is left at the top of the tank, could it be that the iron sheet added to the oxidation tank through this hole results in uneven distribution of the iron sheet inside the tank, thereby causing uneven oxidation? After the reaction is complete, is it necessary to turn over and wash the remaining iron sheets? If so, what equipment should be used for this purpose? If anyone who is aware of the situation can help and tell me, I would be extremely grateful if you could provide me with a diagram of the container’s structure!
