Ways of intergranular corrosion

Recently, there was a piece of equipment for which the drawings specified that the material should meet the intergranular corrosion sensitivity test requirements of method GB/T4334-2008A. The standards for the connections required compliance with 14976-2015, and method E is specified as the standard for intergranular corrosion testing under 14976. Can connections using method E be used on this equipment?
It shall meet the requirements of the drawings, and any change in method must obtain written consent from the original design unit.
This post was last edited by fzujunru on 2020-10-30 15:56. Method A is a screening test; if Method A passes, methods B, C, D, and E do not need to be tested and are still considered to pass according to GB 21433 6.6
If only the E-method is used for the takeover, this sample can be retested using the A-method; if it passes the test, it can then be used.
