How to cut reinforcing rings with DN＜50?

When the pipe opening is less than 50 but there is still a reinforcement ring, how should the material be cut? The minimum value specified in JB/T4736-2002 is 50.

The outer diameter and thickness of the reinforcement ring are determined based on the reinforcement calculations; the outer diameter specified in the standards for reinforcement rings can be used as a reference for these calculations, or it can be determined independently. Why would one need to use a reinforcement ring for such a small pipe? For a DN50 reinforcement ring, the standard single-sided width is only 35 mm; after deducting the groove width, not much is left. If it’s any smaller, the internal and external welds will almost meet; wouldn’t it be better to use thicker pipes or reinforcement tubes? For such a small pipe, increasing its thickness by 0.5mm would likely result in a significant increase in the required reinforcement.
It is recommended to use reinforcement pipes for overall strengthening.
