One of our company’s pressure vessels has been moved to another location for use; the medium used, as well as the temperature and pressure conditions, have changed. However, it is being used at a reduced capacity, and this still fully meets the requirements for its use. What procedures are needed in such a situation?
TSG 08-2017 \"Rules for the Use and Management of Special Equipment\" 3.8.2.1 When special equipment is relocated within the administrative jurisdiction of the registration authority, the user unit shall, prior to putting the equipment into use, submit the original use registration certificate, a newly filled out use registration form (in two copies), and an inspection report issued after the relocation (in the case of disassembly and relocation) to the registration authority, in order to apply for a change in registration and obtain a new use registration certificate. The registration authority shall make a cancellation mark on the original use registration certificate and the original use registration form. 3.8.2.2 Transfer across the administrative jurisdiction of the registration authority (1) When transferring special equipment across the administrative jurisdiction of the registration authority, the user entity shall submit the original use registration certificate and use registration form to the original registration authority to apply for cancellation ； The original registration authority shall cancel the use registration certificate, make a cancellation mark on the original use registration certificate and the original use registration form, and issue a \"Certificate of Change for Special Equipment Use Registration Certificate\" to the using unit (format see Attachment E) ； (2) After the relocation is completed, the user entity shall, prior to putting the equipment into use, submit the \"Certificate of Change for Registration of Special Equipment Use\", the original registration form marked with an cancellation indicator, and the inspection report issued after the relocation (in the case of disassembly and relocation), and apply to the registration authority at the new location for re-registration in accordance with the provisions of Sections 3.4 and 3.5 of these rules.
