Principles for process parameters: The process specifications for pressure vessels, the operating procedures for specific tasks, and the process parameters of these vessels should be set within the safe range permitted by the structural strength of the pressure vessels. The process specifications and operational procedures shall cover the following aspects: (1) Process operation parameters for pressure vessels, as well as the maximum operating pressure and minimum operating wall temperature ; (2) The optimal ratio of the operating medium and the maximum allowable concentration of harmful substances in it, as well as the amounts of reaction inhibitors and corrosion inhibitors to be added ; (3) Normal operating methods, start-up and shutdown procedures, the sequence for increasing and decreasing temperature and pressure as well as the maximum allowable speeds, the allowable range for pressure fluctuations, and other precautions ; (4) Inspection routes during operation, inspection contents, methods, frequency, and record forms ; (5) Abnormal phenomena that may occur during operation and preventive measures ; (6) Post responsibility system, key maintenance points, and methods for pressure vessels ; (7) Methods for sealing and maintenance of pressure vessels when out of use. The user shall not arbitrarily change the design and process parameters of the pressure vessel, and must strictly prevent it from operating under conditions of excessive temperature, pressure, subcooling, or severe corrosion. Operators must be well-versed in the process procedures, operational guidelines for their positions, and safety regulations; they must also understand the structure of the containers and the process flow. Only those who pass both theoretical and practical assessments may take up their posts. Operation and maintenance (1): Measures should be established from a process operation perspective to ensure the safe and economical operation of pressure vessels. Such as improving regulations for smooth operation, reducing working temperature and pressure appropriately through process reforms, etc. (2) Corrosion prevention measures should be strengthened, such as applying anti-corrosion coatings, installing linings, adding corrosion inhibitors, improving purification processes, and controlling the concentration of corrosive substances. (3) Depending on the location and nature of the defect, regular or condition monitoring methods are employed to determine whether the defect is progressing and to what extent, so that appropriate measures can be taken. Abnormal condition handling: To ensure safety, during operation, pressure vessels should be stopped if any of the following conditions are detected. (1) When the operating pressure of the container, the temperature of its working walls, or the concentration of harmful substances exceed the allowable values specified in the operating procedures, and these values cannot be reduced even after taking emergency measures ; (2) When cracks, bulges, deformations, or severe leaks occur in the pressurized components of the container, jeopardizing safe operation ; (3) When the safety accessories fail and cannot ensure the safe operation of the container ; (4) When the fasteners are damaged or the connectors are broken, making it difficult to ensure safe operation ; (5) When a fire, explosion occurs in the container itself, adjacent containers, or pipelines, or when toxic and harmful substances leak out, thereby posing a direct threat to the safe operation of the container. When dealing with abnormal situations in pressure vessels, one must overcome wishful thinking and short-sighted actions; instead, the potentiality and unpredictability of accidents should be considered carefully and comprehensively.
