Ferritic stainless steel: The mandatory requirements for ferritic stainless steel containers are as follows: 01 The surfaces of their welded joints must be inspected using magnetic particle (MT) or penetrant testing (PT). 02 Ferritic steel plates for pressure components, with a minimum operating temperature of 0°C. 03 High-alloy steel forgings shall all be forged from steel that has undergone secondary refining. 04 Cylindrical, annular, and bowl-shaped forgings used as container shells and heads should be of grade III or IV. The minimum operating temperature for 05 S11306 steel forgings is 0°C. 06 The blanks for studs of various steel grades shall undergo tensile testing, and the testing requirements and results shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 1220. 07 There shall be no undercuts on the surface of the container welds. 08 For welded joints of any thickness, Class A and Class B welded joints shall undergo 100% non-destructive testing (RT/UT). 09 The surfaces of its Class C, D, and E welded joints shall be subjected to magnetic particle or penetrant testing.
