Containers for fatigue analysis: The requirements for containers used in fatigue analysis are as follows: 01 The design documents of the pressure vessels under analysis must not only undergo the three levels of signing for design, verification, and review, but also be approved by the technical responsible person of the pressure vessel design unit or their authorized representative (level 4 signing). 02 The design drawings shall specify the design service life and the allowable number of cyclic loading cycles. 03 The weld joints between the flange and the shell, as well as those of the jacketed vessel, shall adopt a fully penetrated structure. 04 For pressure vessels constructed in accordance with analysis and design standards, their Class A and Class B butt joints shall undergo 100% non-destructive testing (RT/UT/TOFD). 05 For containers designed based on fatigue analysis, the excess height of the longitudinal and circumferential welds should be removed so that the weld surface is level with the base metal surface. 06 Strength expansion joining shall not be used when there is vibration or significant temperature fluctuations during the operation process. 07 When there is significant vibration during operation, the tube sheet shall not be welded using strength welding. 08 When there are vibration or cyclic loads, the tube sheet should be joined by expansion welding.
