Seeking advice: Issue regarding the location of the connections for the spherical tank level gauge – Can the connections for the spherical tank level gauge be installed on the upper and lower temperature zone shell plates (as lateral openings, with the axis of the connections parallel to the ground level)? ? ?
It seems much better when it’s connected to the short pipe in front of the flange; if there’s an opening on the container, that would be a problem. An amateur’s opinion, for reference only.

Connecting the level gauge outlet pipe from the short pipes in front of the flanges at the top and bottom of the spherical tank reduces the need for openings on the container, but the longer length of the outlet pipe also poses problems regarding support.
Use a level gauge with an opening only at the top
Since it is a spherical tank, the common practice is to install double-flange pressure-type remote transmitters at the top and bottom of the tank; this allows the liquid level to be determined using the pressure readings and the relevant formula for spherical tanks. If the tank capacity is greater than 100 cubic meters, another radar level gauge can be installed on the top of the tank for comparison, which also helps to verify the accuracy of the calculated liquid level.
Who will check this level gauge? Make a ladder platform? ? ?
