There is a gap between the annular edge plate at the bottom of the company's storage tank and the cement foundation of the storage tank. Does it need to be dealt with?
To prevent corrosion, it is better to use elastic sealant for sealing.
What type of elastic sealant is best?
How does this work? ? ? The edge plate of the tank will warp when it is full or empty.
Is it an atmospheric pressure flat bottom storage tank? This phenomenon must be caused by the deviation of the civil foundation itself. The tank bottom plate will not be absolutely flat. After welding the large-foot welds, the soft foundation of the tank will warp upward. When the edge plate is fully loaded, the edge plate will also warp. These gaps will cause water accumulation and moist air to enter the bottom plate, causing corrosion of the bottom plate. The corrosion of the bottom plate cannot be detected. Moreover, due to the particularity of the location, even if corrosion occurs, it cannot be repaired.
Is this the case with a construction team from outside? Or did you buy the materials and make them yourself?
It is normal to have gaps. Just make a rainproof one. Some units do not understand the principle of normal pressure tanks and have to find a foot to press them down. Our company has dozens of large tanks a year. Some users also ask this, but we can only give them a blank look and experience it ourselves.
You've got a good bar raise, and there are many ways to solve it. How about changing the bottom? I know it can definitely be replaced.
