The material used for the standard elliptical head is duplex steel S22053. The diameter of the head is 800, and the thickness of the material is 8 mm. Should cold pressing or hot pressing be used during manufacturing? Considering the properties of this material, I recommend cold pressing. I would appreciate some professional advice from those with more experience – what are the key considerations for different pressing methods?
Cold pressing. Hot pressing requires re-solution treatment.

The standards do not provide detailed information on the control points in the pressing process for double-phase steel heads; they only specify whether heat treatment is required for stainless steel pressure vessels, with no specific details on other aspects

Is it reasonable that GB/T 25198-2010 stipulates that heat treatment is necessary whenever cold forming is used, regardless of whether it is under internal pressure, external pressure, or atmospheric pressure, and regardless of whether the material is carbon steel or low-alloy steel?
