May I ask whether strength calculation formulas can also be applied in the case of local thinning?
Local thinning is classified according to the local thinning criteria; if those requirements are not met, it doesn’t matter if the strength check comes out satisfactory.
Furthermore, in practical applications, how can one distinguish between full thinning and partial thinning? What extent of thinning is considered full thinning?
