Technical parameters of wear-resistant elbows Wear-resistant elbows are often used in wear-resistant pipes in power plants, steel plants, and coal washing plants. Due to their excellent wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant properties, they are increasingly used in the wear-resistant industry. Many purchasing personnel do not know much about the technical parameters of wear-resistant elbows. Let’s introduce them in detail below. 1. Equipment parameters (1) The design, manufacturing and technical performance, chemical composition, physical properties inspection and testing, packaging and transportation of wear-resistant elbows should comply with the requirements of the power industry standard DL/T680-2015 "Technical Conditions for Wear-Resistant Pipes in the Power Industry". (2) The inlet and outlet of the wear-resistant elbow each have a straight section of a certain length, which is welded to the powder feeding pipe. There should be no special requirements for on-site wear-resistant elbow welding to ensure that the product has good welding performance when welded on-site at room temperature. (3) Anti-collision measures should be taken for wear-resistant elbows during transportation and hoisting. Pipe fittings should be bundled and packaged with elastic materials such as straw ropes and wooden boxes. All elbows should be welded with special lifting rings. (4) Ceramic wear-resistant elbows comply with the standard DL/T680-2015 "Technical Conditions for Wear-Resistant Pipes in the Electric Power Industry". (5) The base material of the wear-resistant elbow is a seamless steel pipe with a wall thickness of 10mm. 16MnG material; wear-resistant ceramic sheets are pasted and inserted inside the elbow, and the thickness of the wear-resistant ceramic lining is 10mm. The ceramic pasting is tight and regular. The Rockwell hardness of the wear-resistant ceramic is ≥80HRA, the compressive strength is ≥850MPa, the operating temperature range is 0-200℃, the bending strength is ≥290MPa, and the alumina content is ≥95. (6) The inner and outer surfaces of wear-resistant elbows and pipes should be smooth and smooth, without burrs, burrs, sticky sand, fleshy or missing flesh, and without cracks, looseness, pores or bubbles. (7) The outer metal surface of the elbow retains the metallic luster, which facilitates inspection and acceptance. (8) Both ends of the elbow should be beveled with an angle of ∠70° and a blunt edge thickness of 2mm to match the on-site powder pipe to facilitate on-site installation. 2. Wear-resistant elbow manufacturers produce ceramic wear-resistant elbows according to the production process, and combine inspections and regular inspections to ensure that all wear-resistant elbows are qualified before leaving the factory.
There are many types of wear-resistant elbows with complex specifications, which requires manufacturers and purchasing personnel to communicate more to ensure that the purchased products can be suitable for on-site industrial and mining applications. In fact, the custom-made processing cost of ceramic elbows is not high. The types can be roughly divided into ceramic elbows, ceramic-lined composite elbows, and solid alumina pipe elbows. Users can choose elbows processed by different processes according to their own usage conditions. Among them, ceramic composite elbows are low-priced and practical, and are used in power plants, steel plants, and cement plants.
