Questions regarding the certificate of conformity for pressure vessel products

I have a few questions for the experts here: 1. On the certificate of conformity and product nameplate for pressure vessel products, what is meant by the manufacturing date – is it the date when production of the product began or the date it was completed? 2. For generating the license number, regarding the production date and sequence number in the device code: if I started manufacturing a product in December 2021 and completed it in 2022, when issuing the certificate of conformity, should the year indicated in the number be 2021 or 2022? And should the sequence number be that of 2021 or 2022? For example, if the product number is 21-099 and production started at the end of 2021 but was not completed until 2022, should the year and serial number in the equipment code be written as 202100099 or 202200001?
Boss, what about the device code? It’s the example I gave above: if production started at the end of 2021 and was completed in 2022, which year should be written in the equipment code field?

Regarding the equipment code issue, I consulted the local inspection agency, and they said that there are no explicit regulations regarding this in the standards, nor is it specified in the system documents; therefore it can be ignored. The completion date should be indicated on the nameplate and certificate of conformity. The product number should be determined in accordance with the company’s procedural documents.
Boss, I’ve seen your message. I still have one question: as shown in the screenshot above, the manufacturing date is indicated on the certificate of conformity and the nameplate. For that field, we should fill in the actual completion date, and there’s no issue with that. But regarding the manufacturing year specified in the code for special equipment, can it be the same as the year in the device number I’ve assigned? It doesn’t have to match the manufacturing date listed on the certificate of conformity, right? For example, I started working on it at the end of 2021; the equipment number was 21-099, and it wasn’t completed until February 2022. The manufacturing sequence number is not explicitly specified in the relevant standards; refer to your company’s system documents as well. If there are no regulations there either, then use your own judgment – as long as the number is unique and does not repeat, it can be assigned to either 2021 or 2022
