Guys, please help me figure this out: for a tank with a diameter of 3.5 meters, a straight section height of 13 meters, and tank legs of 5.2 meters, how should the inclined supports be designed? Are there any relevant design manuals? Please recommend some. Thank you:handshake
5.2 meters is a bit high; I suggest adding an inter-column brace in the middle of the supports, with horizontal tie rods placed within that inter-column brace. Tie rods are also used at the upper and lower parts of the inter-column bracing.
Thank you, boss. There’s a tricky issue now: the client wants the tie rods to be 2 meters high, meaning the lowest point should be at a height of 2 meters. Equipment and walkways need to be installed beneath the tank legs. I initially placed them in the middle, but since the client made this requirement, I’m not sure how to proceed. If cross-shaped tie rods are used, what should be the appropriate angle?

It is recommended to use skirt seats or rigid ring-lug type supports.
I suggest dividing it into two sections; there should be I-beams at the 2m mark to form a frame, and the base of the tank should be placed on top of that. The four feet of the tank should be fitted with scissor gussets.
