What welding material is used for welding the structure in the diagram?
Carbon steel J427, carbon steel and stainless steel A312

If two types of welding materials are used, what are the requirements regarding the welding sequence?
...This is the first time I’ve seen this type of tube sheet structure. Isn’t this tube sheet made of composite material? It seems strange; for welding, use A042 on the side of the wire holder that faces the tube sheet, and use J427 or J507 on the side of the wire holder that faces the cylinder.
This structure is quite awkward; could you talk to the designer about changing it to a composite tube sheet made of carbon steel and stainless steel? That would also make the cost lower. For base carbon steel, the welding of this thread seat represents a joint between carbon steel and low-alloy steel. If it can’t be changed, then welding in half circles is the only option
It’s not very large in diameter nor thick; there’s no need to use a composite panel, right?
Just weld it as is without making any changes; use A042 welding rod for the wire holder and the tube sheet, and use J427 or J507 for the connection between the wire holder and the cylinder body. For process qualification, carbon steel and stainless steel are considered; for welders, 2 options are chosen as priorities, namely the welding procedures for carbon steel and those for stainless steel.
This is a vent pipe, I prefer another type of design at the moment. Holes are drilled in the tube sheet, and the nozzles are welded to these holes, thereby avoiding this problem.

What is the purpose of opening holes in the tube sheet to pass through the tubes?
