According to the GB25198 standard for end caps, there is no DN356 version of the EHB type end cap; is it true that no one uses this specification? Can it be done?
Strictly speaking, it’s not called DN356; it’s φ356, right?
Isn’t this EHA356x3? Why must it be called EHB?
It should be EHA350x3; don’t force the use of EHB, as EHB is used for pipe end caps
EHA is a head based on the inner diameter, while EHB is a head based on the outer diameter. I’m using φ356x10 steel pipes for the cylinder – am I supposed to get a result like this? :L
If there’s no standard, just create a custom one.
Interesting – since the diameter of the cylinder is required to be so precise, isn’t cost and manufacturing considered during the design process? Everyone should design it either by using a 350 rolling cylinder with an EHA head, or by using 377 pipes with an EHB head; there’s no need to create a special mold for a head just for such a small component. Just like threads come in M10 and M12 sizes; if one insists on using M11, they ask whether it’s available for purchase. It seems to be carefully designed, but it’s really hard to say.
Design should take manufacturing into account. It’s simply impossible to manufacture this using forgings; if this size is absolutely required, then costs can be ignored
It’s best to follow standards when designing, and as long as it’s not for manufacturing atomic bombs, I believe standard sizes can be used; there’s no need to opt for unusual dimensions,,,,,:lol
