To all relevant parties: The National Technical Committee for Standardization of Boilers and Pressure Vessels (hereinafter referred to as the Committee) plans to hold the “First 2023 Training Session on Standards for Boilers and Pressure Vessels” in Haikou City, Hainan Province, from March 23 to 26, 2023. The relevant details are notified as follows: 1. Training content: This training session has specially invited the main drafters of standards related to boilers and pressure vessels, as well as experienced experts in pressure vessel materials, design, manufacturing, and inspection, to serve as instructors. Upon completion of the training, credit for the corresponding course hours will be awarded to those responsible for the design approval and analysis of pressure vessels. The detailed schedule of the course is as follows: 1. Optimization of China’s standard system for pressure equipment and technical advancements in key standards – Secretariat of the Boiler Capacity Standardization Committee; 2. Key standards for mobile pressure vessels – Zhou Weiming; 3. Design and manufacturing technologies for titanium and zirconium pressure vessels – Cui Jun; 4. Technical advancements in the design and manufacturing of large-scale oil storage tanks – Li Hongbin. II. Participants: This training session is intended primarily for pressure vessel design approvers, pressure vessel designers (including those responsible for analytical design), inspectors of boilers and pressure vessels, as well as other managers involved in the oversight of boilers and pressure vessels. The class is expected to have 300 applicants; once the quota is reached, the mini-program will automatically close. III. Relevant Matters (1) Timing of the training: Registration date: March 22; Training period: March 23 to 26.
