I have a calculation to do; it should be simple, haha. I’m not very familiar with it, so I was wondering if you could help me work it out. There’s a drying room with dimensions of 50 meters long, 8 meters wide, and 3 meters high. The air temperature in this room needs to be raised from room temperature to around 70 degrees Celsius within about an hour. I plan to use the waste heat from a 6-ton industrial boiler to heat the air. I’d like to know what size air preheater would be appropriate for this purpose. The temperature of the exhaust gas is 200 degrees, and I want the exhaust temperature to be below 140 degrees. Other parameters can be assumed to be idealized, such as the length of the pipes used to convey the heated air. Under normal conditions, a 6-ton boiler has an exhaust fan capacity of around 32,000 cubic meters per hour, while the blower’s capacity is around 20,000 cubic meters per hour. Could you help me design something based on these figures? Thank you!
This isn’t a heat pipe! My software isn’t needed either! Calculating makes no sense to me!
