Testing the welds on the bottom plate of the tank in a vacuum chamber
Although I haven’t seen the construction process, how is it ensured that the error in the pressure rise rate caused by leaks over a week is minimized during vacuuming? If you don’t understand, ask. Can we use ultraviolet fluorescence for this inspection first?
One should first spray soap solution on the weld, then cover it with a vacuum chamber; if there is air leakage at the weld, bubbles will form
I’ve really never seen anything like it – it seems to be a quality inspection of the sealing in the gaps between the anti-corrosion bricks at the bottom of the tank.
