In order to protect the impeller of many centrifugal compressors, the electrical control circuit should have vibration protection. When surge occurs and the vibration value exceeds the set value, it will automatically trip. To eliminate the fault of the centrifuge itself and the pipeline vibrating, you can install a corrugated expansion joint or change the sliding bracket. (You should be able to find the specifications in the forum). I have encountered two cases of surge in gas compressor pipes, which is outrageous. There is a pressurizing machine with an air intake cabinet that will experience periodic surges after running for about half a month. After the machine is shut down, the cause cannot be found. Later, because it was inconvenient to clear the focus, the outlet hand hole was shortened, and this phenomenon disappeared. :L There is also a furnace bottom fan, which also suffers from intermittent surges, much like a water seal trying to break. I checked many times and couldn't find the reason. Then it got better somehow. The reciprocating air compressor's body and outlet pipe vibrated so violently that the side walls were cracked. We went to the manufacturer but couldn't figure it out. Later, an equipment technician and an experienced craftsman dismantled and reassembled the machine and found out that one of the cross-head pins was short. Completely solved the problem.
Increasing support stiffness should improve
One direction of the spring may not necessarily solve all problems. It is estimated that the process load will increase and the flow rate will increase. If necessary, adjust the bracket settings and pipe diameter of the entire piping system.
