The regular inspections carried out by maintenance personnel are not standardized. Although these personnel are responsible for conducting regular inspections of the equipment, the standards for what needs to be inspected are not clear, and the intervals between inspections are not fixed. As a result, the inspections are not thorough enough, and potential problems with the equipment go unnoticed, which directly affects its service life. If minor faults are not repaired in a timely manner, major equipment failures will inevitably occur, which not only affects production but also increases the costs associated with equipment maintenance. Lubrication management measures are not implemented. The five major systems to be inspected include the operating system, transmission system, hydraulic lubrication system, safety devices, and electrical system. Among them, the operating system primarily focuses on control buttons and feed operation handwheels ; The transmission system consists mainly of the grinder shaft, workpiece shaft, and dresser ; The hydraulic lubrication system relies mainly on a lubricating oil sight glass and a pressure gauge ; The safety devices mainly consist of grinding wheel guards ; The electrical system mainly consists of motors and grounding wires. Static inspections include the operating system, safety devices, and electrical systems ; Dynamic inspections include the drive system and the hydraulic lubrication system. Quantitative inspections primarily involve checking whether the readings on pressure gauges fall within the normal range. Through conducting routine equipment inspections, potential hazards and abnormalities can be promptly identified and addressed, ensuring that the equipment remains in good working condition and enhancing both its availability and utilization rate. 2. Establish regular inspection items and standards. Taking lathe-type equipment as an example, the items for regular inspections of such equipment include lubrication, damage, leaks (of oil), operation status, abnormal noises, looseness, vibrations, temperature, as well as the electrical system and components. Visual inspection items: scratches, dents, and wear on the guide rails and sliding surfaces ; Wear condition of various drive gears, racks, and screw pairs ; Wear conditions of the spindle tailstock, sleeve, tapered hole, etc ; Wear condition of pulleys, friction plates, drive shafts, etc ; Are there any leaks in the oil pump, oil cylinders, and hydraulic valves? ; Whether the transmission mechanism, tool holder, and worktable operate smoothly, etc. Audio inspection items: Check for any abnormal noises in the transmission and gear-changing mechanisms, as well as in the vertical and horizontal feed systems and the spindle box transmission ; Check whether there is any noise when the motor, water pump, and electrical components are in operation. Inspection items for contact: All transmission and clamping devices are not loose, and joints and pins are properly secured ; All electrical components are in good contact, and the fixing screws are not loose ; The movement clearance of the large and small knife holders is appropriate. Measurement and inspection items: spindle vibration, bending of lead screws and guide rails, transmission meeting requirements ; The electrical components and control circuits inside the distribution box are in good condition and neatly arranged. The regular inspection cycle can be set to weekly, ten-day, monthly, quarterly, or yearly intervals. By establishing a regular equipment inspection system, it is possible to keep track of the actual operating conditions of the equipment in a timely manner, thereby maintaining and improving its performance.
