Dear teachers, while reviewing GB/T713.7-2023 today, I noticed that impact data has been added for austenitic stainless steels; the value in the -196 column is understood to be in line with industry practices. Although it is stated that impact testing is not mandatory per the standard, when is it required for austenitic stainless steel at 20°C? Is there such a working condition? Moreover, at 20°C values are provided for both the longitudinal and transverse directions
