Requirements for the length of heat exchanger shell sections

Guys, for heat exchangers designed according to GB/T151, an external flow guide cylinder is provided on the shell side; due to structural reasons, the length of the cylinder section at its left end is only 200 mm. It does not meet the requirements regarding the minimum tube length specified in GB150; is this design structure feasible?
The requirement for the shortest sleeve length specified in GB/T150 is more of a management necessity rather than a technical requirement (of course, it is ideal if the shortest sleeve length meets the stress attenuation length requirement); there is no issue with this design
Not feasible. In accordance with the relevant provisions of GB150, the length of the tube section must meet the minimum length requirement, which is usually greater than 200 mm. It is recommended to adjust the design to ensure compliance with national standards. .
It is recommended to communicate with your Special Inspection Institute first to confirm things. Perhaps everyone understands it differently; it’s something that can only be experienced firsthand
There is no requirement of a minimum length of 300 for the tube sheet sections; only the shell sections have such a requirement
