On May 28, Lu’an Huaji successfully delivered and hoisted three core reactors for Jingmen Yuanhan’s 200,000 tons per year ethanol production facility (including electronic-grade ethanol), marking another significant achievement by Lu’an Huaji in the field of high-end equipment manufacturing for the energy and chemical industries. For this project undertaken by Lu’an Huaji, the task involves manufacturing three key units: two carbonylation reactors and one methyl acetate hydrogenation reactor. These units have a maximum diameter of 5.4 meters, a length of around 21 meters, and a weight of approximately 604 tons each. The equipment is of large size, the delivery deadline is tight, and high precision in manufacturing is required. During the manufacturing process, the various units at Lu’an Huajian responded swiftly and worked closely together, adopting a \"in-house production + on-site manufacturing\" approach to organize production. Strict control was exercised at every stage, from the finalization of technical plans, procurement of raw materials, development of manufacturing processes, actual production, quality inspection, to packaging and transportation, all in order to ensure that the equipment was delivered with high quality. To ensure the successful lifting of the equipment, Lu’an Huaji, together with the project team and the construction unit, worked together meticulously and carefully, and it took 6 days to complete the transfer and lifting of the 3 core reactors. It is reported that the carbonylation reactor and the methyl acetate hydrogenation reactor are the most critical components in the DMTE coal-to-ethanol process. The ethanol produced undergoes subsequent processes such as separation, dehydration, and distillation to yield electronic-grade ethanol, which serves as a key raw material for electrolytes. The large-scale production of electrolyte precursors will play a vital role in supporting the rapid development of emerging industries such as new energy vehicles and energy storage.
