Is it more appropriate for the structural engineering team or the equipment engineering team to create the ladder platform diagram for the equipment? Are there any specific requirements?
The structure doesn’t understand your equipment; it’s not sure about the areas where the steel structure comes into contact with the equipment. It’s better for the device to generate itself based on the catalog; this way, the device can ensure its own safety.
In terms of specialized responsibilities, we handle the ladder platforms that are attached to the equipment (such as ladder platforms for towers); the design for these is carried out by the equipment specialists according to the relevant design specifications, while the design for the combined equipment and platform systems is handled by the civil engineering specialists.
