The temperature of the incinerator can be controlled by adjusting the flow rate of the fuel gas; it is advisable to avoid using methods such as shutting down or starting up the furnace to regulate its temperature, as this can lead to significant fluctuations in temperature and is harmful to the lining. During the pilot test of the incinerator, the steam generated by the waste heat boiler can be integrated into the corresponding steam pipeline network.
Can an exhaust gas incinerator use this method to recover waste heat?
Sure, my previous employer used the Super Claus process; the exhaust gas burner was connected to a waste heat boiler, which produced steam at 2.5 MPa.
