For gaskets specified in requirements 3.2 and 4.5, what should be the actual thickness range?
I’m not very familiar with the gaskets used on equipment; those used on pipes and nozzles generally have a standard thickness

For requirements of 3.2 and 4.5, the actual thickness is 3.2 = 3.7–3.8, and 4.5 = 4.7–5.0. These are formed by combining winding machine clamps with shaped steel strips, and the processing is carried out according to the specific requirements of each customer
Why don’t gasket manufacturers produce them according to a **standard deviation of 0.2 mm?**
The company’s designers, following standard deviations and applying detailed design specifications, caused quality issues in valve assembly – the valves could not be positioned accurately. 2 Hypothesis: A thicker gasket is beneficial for performance.
