Zhenhai Petrochemical Jianan Company, and Luoyang Petrochemical Jianan Company (that seems to be the name). Initially, around the year 2000, it was mainly German company Linde that manufactured coil-type heat exchangers; at that time, such exchangers were mostly imported. Later, Linde and Dalian Jinzhong established a company named Dalian Linde in Dalian. It seems that this move led to some asset disputes, though the details of these are not very clear. At first, only Dalian Linde was capable of producing such coils domestically. As the market continued to expand, three main manufacturers emerged in China for this purpose: Dalian Linde, Kaikong, and Zhenhai. It seems that Kaikong split up later on, and now there are three manufacturers in Kaifeng that produce such coils; they are likely all based on the technology developed by Kaikong originally. Now, coil winding is no longer some particularly mysterious device; there are many manufacturers of it. It seems that Dalian Linde has not been mentioned in quite some time. Several factories that operate on an open-loop basis produce such devices, and Zhenhai is also involved in this production; many manufacturing companies have joined this field as well. The greatest advantage of coil heat exchangers is that they allow multiple flow streams, and they have a large heat exchange area. The downside is that there are many restrictions on the materials used, especially high requirements regarding their cleanliness. Nowadays, as production capacity has increased, there are many new types of heat exchangers available; in my opinion, tube-winding designs have become quite common. Of course, if the equipment needs to handle high pressures or large capacities, it’s better to turn to manufacturers with extensive experience in this field.
