Beginner seeking help: What is the formula for calculating the heat exchange area of a shell and tube heat exchanger?
Read books on thermal calculations for heat exchangers or boilers by yourself!
Heat transfer amount divided by heat transfer coefficient divided by heat transfer temperature difference.
I’m not quite sure. Are there certain conditions that need to be met in order to calculate the heat exchange area? Are it the dimensions of the equipment, or the properties of the material?
Heat exchange area of heat exchange tubes = π × outer diameter of heat exchange tube × tube length × number of tubes
