I would like to ask everyone: is it possible to avoid water treatment for boiler water, given that the feed water flow rate is extremely high? The water flow is so fast that it washes away any scale before it can form. Is this achievable? Is there theoretical support?

Hot water boilers might just work, barely; ordinary steam boilers won’t work, and supercritical boilers won’t work either if their treatment level is too low.

Typically, small industrial boilers are not subjected to water treatment; instead, the boiler tubes are replaced on a regular basis. Hot water heaters can have chemicals added to them, or they can be cleaned regularly. The other furnaces are still for water treatment.
