As shown in the figure, due to XXX reasons during the production of the heat exchanger, the position of the shell side liquid inlet and outlet cannot match the on-site pipe opening. The on-site pipe size is determined and cannot be changed, so the opening position of the heat exchanger can only be changed. Since it is a fixed tube plate, cutting off the pipe opening (Q345E, 89x4) will inevitably damage the internal heat exchange tube. Therefore, the initial plan is to cut the pipe and the cylinder flush, then use a 90° elbow to cut it from the 45° position and rotate it 180°. After butt welding, it is assembled with the cylinder and subjected to corresponding non-destructive testing to solve the 35mm eccentricity problem. So the question is: 1. Is this kind of structure allowed by the standard specification? 2After the change, the straight edge section of the nozzle is gone. How to deal with the opening reinforcement? 3. Can the general design drawing be changed like this? The Type II heat exchanger requires supervisory inspection. Is it possible to pass it?

If the equipment has undergone supervisory inspection, such modifications will definitely fail the special inspection. Can't we consider moving the equipment and think of a solution from the pipeline? For example, the pipe uses a reducing section and an XX degree elbow to match the pipe?

What is "process piping"? It just needs to match the equipment. I have never seen the equipment need to be matched with the pipeline. Piping adjustments must be coordinated and the equipment itself must not be damaged at will.

I don’t know what the operating conditions are, and whether a section of flexible pipe (GB/T 14525-2010) can be installed at the connection point.
