I read in the materials that the anti-corrosion measure for the cooler tube bundle is a lining; what exactly is a lining? Will it fall?
Yes, and it’s not cheap. It’s better to focus on upgrading the material. :lol
There are many types of anti-corrosion methods for pipes; lining, spraying, rolling coating, and molding are common ones. The disadvantages are also obvious; after all, it’s not made of the same material, so peeling and cracking are likely to occur during use. Try to use pipes made of corrosion-resistant materials.
Under appropriate process conditions, graphite heat exchangers are an excellent choice due to their superior corrosion resistance, good heat transfer performance, and high cost-effectiveness.
Can the anti-corrosion treatment of cooler tube bundles also be done by roll coating or molding? ?
There are products available on the market for spraying inside heat exchanger tubes; roll coating and molding methods are only suitable for pipes and containers!
Coating the heat exchange tubes to prevent corrosion reduces their heat transfer capacity; therefore, it is not really recommended to use this method. Additionally, there is the issue of whether the coatings might fall off over time, and inspecting the tube bundles also presents difficulties... Thus, it is more practical to replace the material of the tube bundles. PS. There are currently processes available for reprocessing tube bundles, with the aim of improving their heat transfer capacity
