Can HTRI calculate three-section shell-and-tube condensers? The shell-side inlet is superheated steam, and the outlet is subcooled water ; Water is on the tube side. For example: the high-pressure heaters in power plants.
Check with Weihai Yite; I ordered a set of two sections from them a couple of days ago – one section is of the tube-and-shell type and the other is fully welded

I have done calculations using both HTRI and EDR, and the results suggest that the required heat exchange area might be smaller than what is actually needed. Moreover, there are some differences between the high-temperature heaters used in power plants and those considered in software design. I have also been studying this issue recently
I have also been studying this issue recently. When using the three-stage calculation method, it often gives an error message indicating that the temperature exceeds the critical value, and the steam temperature in the high-pressure heater is too high. By using slightly lower parameters for the calculations, I found that the area calculated manually is much smaller than that obtained using HTRI; I’m not sure whether the problem lies with my input data or with the software itself.
