Environmental protection authorities in many areas now prohibit the arbitrary discharge of steam on-site. If cooling towers are installed to condense and cool the steam in order to eliminate such emissions, the electricity consumption and equipment costs involved are substantial. Spending large amounts of money to merely reduce emissions does not create any value; it would be better to install a steam waste heat utilization system that generates value for the company. The value created by these two approaches for the company is entirely different. Many companies are also considering waste heat power generation or waste heat cooling, but according to our tests, among all methods of waste heat recovery, only the reuse of steam offers the greatest economic value at present.
