Heat exchanger question 6 — What do the cold and hot side supply and return water in a plate heat exchanger refer to?

This post was last edited by yudeguoshi on 2021-7-28 at 12:00. Does \"hot-side water supply\" for plate heat exchangers refer to hot water entering or hot water exiting? Does cold-side water supply refer to cold inlet or cold outlet?
Cold-side supply and return water refer to cold inlet.
On the cold side, is it the supply water that enters cold, or is it the return water that enters cold? It doesn’t say so, right?

Some people might think that the water exiting the heat exchanger is what is meant by \"water supply.\" It’s common to hear people say that their hot water boiler has a water supply of 120 and a return water flow of 70. . Hehe, sometimes you just have to communicate. Because individual habits vary. . I’ve encountered such problems quite often before as well
