Plate heat exchangers need to be disassembled and inspected during maintenance, repair or cleaning. Therefore, it is necessary to understand the methods and precautions for disassembling the heat exchanger.: 1. Before disassembling the plate heat exchanger, first measure the compression length of the plate bundle and make a record (this size must be followed when reinstalling). 2. Remove the clamping bolts and heat exchange plates. 3. Remove the sealing gaskets on each plate. If the rubber gasket is stuck in the groove between the two plates, you need to use a screwdriver to carefully separate it. First insert it from the easy-to-peel part, and then separate it along its periphery. Do not damage the plates and sealing gaskets. The liquid nitrogen quenching method can also be used to quickly deform the gasket and then tear it off. 4. If you want to replace a new gasket, you need to use acetone or other similar organic solvents to clean the gasket groove, and then apply the adhesive evenly into the plate sealing groove. 5. Use light or kerosene penetration method to check the heat transfer plates one by one for cracks or holes. If there are any, they need to be repaired or replaced in time. 6. Check whether the heat exchange plate has dents or local deformation. If it exceeds the allowable value, repair or replace it. 7. If there is accumulation of debris in the medium inlet and outlet short pipes or channels, they should be cleaned in time. 8. When disassembling titanium plates, it is strictly prohibited to come into contact with open flames to prevent oxidation. 9. Check whether the sealing gasket has defects such as aging, deterioration, cracks, etc. It is forbidden to scratch the surface with hard objects. 10. It is strictly forbidden to accumulate solid particles, such as sand, iron slag, etc., on the surface of the sealing gasket and plate.
