Consulting for the titanium plate heat exchanger industry

I work in the production and processing of titanium materials. Currently, I am dealing with titanium materials used in plate heat exchangers. I wasn’t very familiar with the heat exchange industry before, and I have questions regarding our production methods: do manufacturing plants usually purchase the sheets themselves for processing, or do they obtain the sheets or gaskets from external suppliers? Are there any large manufacturers? It seems that those with a really large scale are mostly joint ventures or foreign-funded enterprises.
Large companies have processing equipment, and they bring in the rolls ready for processing on their own.
So do normal large companies generally use titanium materials imported from Japan and South Korea? As for other smaller companies, I think they can also provide products similar to those of these joint-venture large companies – do they copy them or purchase them from the large companies?
Titanium in South Korea is cheaper than that produced domestically; there are agents for imported titanium as well
