Question: Dear experts, in the design and calculation of expansion joints, how can designers find out the yield strength of the bellows material at room temperature as specified in the quality certificate?
The conservative approach is to use the minimum yield strength permitted by the standards; products from steel mills that fall below this minimum value are considered defective.
