Question: Are there any practical application examples of tubular heaters in the leaching plant of wet zinc smelting systems? Due to the company’s need for steam for winter heating, the amount of steam supplied by the waste heat boiler has to be diverted for heating purposes. As a result, the process temperature in the leaching workshop at the production site fails to meet the required levels, which leads to higher zinc content in the two types of slag. It is possible to address this shortage of steam for production by installing pipe heaters, thereby allowing for a flexible use of both steam heating and electric heating to improve the process conditions.
