This increases the dynamic tension exerted on the entire conveyor chain, causing the weakest components in it to deform severely or break – usually the link plates； When the link or connecting chain breaks, the surrounding links, connecting chains, and chain plates will suffer varying degrees of impact damage, thereby reducing their service life and reliability ； Corrosion, wear, and long-term stress fluctuations weaken the overall strength of the conveyor chain, accelerating fatigue failure, while fatigue and corrosion also increase the rate of wear. And each cause of damage affects not just one single component; it has an impact on the entire chain conveyor system. However, damage occurs only at the weakest points.
