I work as a chief operator at an oil refinery and would like to switch to another plant, but now it’s all about educational qualifications. Is education really more important than work experience?
We feel each other’s pain! Perhaps everyone implicitly assumes that educational attainment is a indicator of a person’s ability to learn and grow; those who lack the ability to learn or do not know how to learn may not become mature no matter how much experience they gain.
There are also companies that don’t require a specific educational background; you can try working at startups. The key is to have solid technical skills.
