It’s better to replace the elbow; this is the weakest part, and the impact of the fluid on it can lead to a reduction in wall thickness. The wall thickness should be checked; if it has decreased, it’s better to replace the elbow. Judging by the color, it’s an oxygen pipeline; such a hasty repair is detrimental to safety, as it’s unclear how the internal slag can be ensured to be cleaned thoroughly.

Welding experts, please point out a few more things. I think the weld isn’t right either; it’s probably cracks caused by thermal stress?
If it’s not due to problems with the medium inside the pipe, then a \"V\"-shaped groove needs to be created using a angle grinder followed by welding repairs; the crack occurred at the edge of the weld seam, so it cannot be attributed to welding quality issues. This area is inherently a location with complex and uneven stress. Thermal stress is a definite factor. Let’s try welding another layer as early as possible; it’s still recommended to replace this elbow.
