So why can it exert such an effect? The principle is quite simple: by soaking the metal in a solution, the molecular ions of the metal combine with the substances in that solution, forming a protective layer on its surface. This is what I mean by a passivation layer. This rust-prevention method is not only simple and easy to implement, but it also results in an attractive appearance; moreover, it meets food safety standards, allowing customers to use it with confidence and making it more popular in the market.
