The company currently has some NiCRCoMo-1 welding material on hand. Recently, one unit of equipment made of S31008 and one unit made of S30409 were received, and the management wants to use the existing NiCRCoMo-1 welding material for these purposes. I would appreciate it if the experts here could advise me – can it be used? What else needs to be done if it can be used?
NiCrCoMo-1 welding material is a nickel-based welding material, generally used for welding 800 series furnace tubes. Welding ordinary stainless steel is a bit wasteful. For welding, support from our company’s welding procedure qualification is required.
