If a leak occurs in a high-temperature, low-pressure coal chemical processing unit, maintenance personnel must take immediate action; otherwise, the unit will not be able to operate properly. Exactly how to proceed

It depends on whether it’s possible to handle the situation without stopping the vehicle; there are many ways to seal leaks, and strategies need to be devised based on the actual circumstances. But it is essential to give top priority to these two safety aspects. One of the methods for sealing leaks is, if welding is possible, to find a nut or something similar that is larger than the leak site, and weld it firmly around the area using electric welding; afterwards, use bolts (along with temporary long rods), and it’s best to wrap some filler material around them in order to tighten everything properly. This is the most common method. Alternatively, a nut can be fitted over the long rod, the top of the rod can be flattened to press against the leak site, and then welding can be performed. Oh, when using electric water welding, be careful of electric shock accidents.
At this point, it’s not about routine maintenance but rather an emergency repair plan. For leaks in such areas, the usual insurance method is to enclose them in a box!
If the device is a pressure vessel, it is required to be shut down for maintenance; this is under normal circumstances. I’ll write that first. If you could stop, you wouldn’t keep asking. Next, we will discuss Method 1: determine whether the device has casting defects such as sand eyes, or corrosion-related perforations, and what type of corrosion it is. Confirm this first. Only then can that kind of solution be considered. 2. If it is merely a perforation (trachoma) and the eye is not large, a section of pipe with a valve can be prepared in advance; the valve is opened during welding and closed after welding is completed. Problem solving. 2. Regarding corrosion issues, the same solutions as mentioned above apply: prepare comprehensive safety and fire prevention measures to be prepared for any potential problems. During welding, pay close attention to the properties of the material at the welding site to ensure proper welding and thus resolve any issues that may arise. If the welding is not good, switch out immediately. Safety first. Remember. Those who carry out maintenance work must take good care of themselves.
