The main materials used for plastic chain plates include plastic-steel ACETAL, polypropylene, PP, polyethylene, PE, nylon, and PA. They belong to the category of conveyor belts, and represent a new type of conveyor belt that offers many advantages over traditional ones: they possess high strength, resistance to acids, alkalis, and saltwater, operate over a wide temperature range, have good anti-sticking properties, can be equipped with partition plates, allow for a large lifting angle, are easy to clean, and require simple maintenance. It can be used for transportation in various environments. Such as the pharmaceutical industry, food industry, packaging industry, daily chemical industry, automotive industry, logistics industry, entertainment facilities, conveyor belts, and conveyor equipment, etc. 1. During transportation and storage, plastic chain conveyor belts should be kept clean, protected from direct sunlight or exposure to rain and snow, prevented from coming into contact with acids, alkalis, oils, organic solvents, etc., and kept at a distance of one meter from heat-generating devices. 2. When storing plastic chain plates, the warehouse temperature should be maintained between -18 and 40°C, while the relative humidity should be kept between 50% and 80%. 3. During storage, plastic chain plates must be kept in rolls; they should not be folded, and they need to be turned over once per quarter while stored. 4. Conveyors with plastic chain plates of different types, specifications, and layer counts should not be used together; adhesive bonding is the preferred method for joining them. 5. The type, structure, specifications, and number of layers of plastic chain conveyor belts should be selected appropriately based on the operating conditions. 6. The operating speed of plastic chain conveyor belts should generally not exceed 2.5 meters per second; for materials with large particle sizes and high wear resistance, as well as when using fixed discharge devices, it is advisable to use a low speed. 7. The relationship between the diameter of the drive drum of the conveyor and the belt layout, the matching of the drive drum and the redirecting drum, as well as the requirements for the groove angles of the idler rollers, should be selected appropriately in accordance with the design specifications of the conveyor. 8. The feeding direction should be in line with the operating direction of the plastic chain conveyor belt. To reduce the impact of falling materials on this conveyor belt, chutes should be used to shorten the distance over which the materials fall ; In the feeding section of the conveyor belt, the spacing between idlers should be reduced, and buffer idlers should be used to prevent material leakage. The belt should also be equipped with soft, moderately rigid baffle plates, so as to avoid the baffle plates being too hard and scratching the surface of the conveyor belt. 9. The following points should be taken into account when using plastic chain plate conveyor belts: ① Prevent the idler rollers from being covered by the material, as this can cause problems with their rotation; also avoid leakage of material getting trapped between the sprockets and the conveyor belt. Pay attention to lubricating the moving parts, but do not apply oil to the plastic chain plates ; ②Avoid starting the plastic chain belt under load ; ③If the plastic chain plate deviates from its path, measures should be taken to correct it during use ; ④If local damage is found on the plastic chain plate, it should be repaired promptly to prevent further expansion.
